The Process

DISCOVERY
We start with a 45 minute discovery call and initial consultation. If you are local to the west metro Minneapolis, I love to meet in person! Then as we start the design process you also have unlimited DMs/Emails.
The discovery process includes conversations of planner layouts you’ve used before, what you like and don’t like. The needs of your business. Areas of struggle in planning and overall branding.

BRANDING
After the Discovery call, I mock up an initial branding Board is mocked up with colors, fonts, and elements for review and approval. If you have planner designs over covers you’ve loved in the past, it’s helpful to send my way to get the vibe
A Canva link is supplied to client during the process to review and designs ongoing .

TEMPLATES
After the branding is approved, I mock up initial template planner pages and delivered via Canva. Then , a follow-up consult is scheduled or templates are reviewed via Canva with notes/comments depending on the edits needed.
Sometimes we schedule multiple consults depending the clarity of the planner designs and ideas upon initial consultation, other times the small tweaks can be made via comments in Canva.

REVIEW & DELIVERY
After initial review, changes are made and the final template pages are delivered for review via canva as well as the Cover/Tab mock ups. Planners are then printed and delivered and ready to enjoy! Planners can come with either a circa disc bind or plastic bound planner. Covers are laminated with #120 paper and inside pages are #70 paper. Planners can come in all sizes; however, the standard size is 7x9.25”

One of the BEST things about a custom planner is it’s not permanent. As your business grows, or as you get to know your planner, we can make adjustments! I charge an hourly fee for adjustments after the initial custom planner.
Custom Design Services
Like the branding of the Better Everyday 5 Planner but want small tweaks made? Or just need a custom page designed for your business? Then Custom Design Services is for you. I can take my Better Everyday 5 Planner and make tweaks to the weekly layout for an hourly fee. I can also design anything from scratch. Need a new program page or deliverable? Give me the content and I can make it pretty.

Take my best ideas in the Better Everyday Planner and customize the weekly layout to further fit your life & business. You will be sent a Google Form to complete to view and requests changes to the layout. A final quote will be given after form is completed - expected design fees between $60-$120

Client Design Expectations
Open communication of needs and desired changes.
Once branding is approved, any changes may require additional hourly charges to be discussed.
Client agrees to approve/review drafts in 3-5 business days or communicate alternate timeline.
Best planners are made when the client is communicative and available for questions during the design process.
